Photo paper cutter stencil and mask for scanning
These are two tools I designed to help with with pinhole photography on photo paper with 4x5 filmholders, for cutting and scanning.
The first tool is a stencil for cutting 10.2x14.5 photo paper to 4x5 film holders dimensions (99.6 * 125 mm exactly).
The second tool is a mask for scanning that helps me to put the paper negative to an exact place on the scanner. It is useful when I have a lot of paper negatives to scan.
The paper cutter stencil
It is a very simple guide for the cutter. Print the guide and the cover. Use tape to make cover and guide dependant. Insert paper and cut with cutter. You might want to place a pice of wood under the tool.
The dimensions of cut paper are 99.6 * 125 mm exactly. Tested with 3 brand of film holders.
Design uses hex comb to reduce material and printing time.
The scanner mask
Print the scanner mask and the cover (same as for the cutter stencil). Use with scanner. The cover is needed to flatten the paper.
